Moved forward a bit with the Scandinavia road trip. Maxim and I have secured (well secured a provisional) set of dates: 3rd-22nd April 2009. Ireland probably now won't happen until 2010+. This will give me slightly more time in which to do work experience things/get some hard cash/charity work/business enterprise...It will also free up £1,000 or so that I had put forward for it in the budget.
I am now also thinking that I will fly direct to St Petersburg rather than take the train. I know this is what some may call cheating slightly but it will give me a few extra days to prepare. This will mean leaving on 1st May 2009 rather than the 28th April. Everything else is still standing (I think).
